Pear shaped, injection moulded from tough flexible vinyl. Features heavy duty black solid injection moulded eye, high gloss body and metal inflation valve. Ideal for use as marker buoys, fenders, commercial use and in the aquaculture industry. Also available with stainless steel eye inserts and the option of closed-cell polyurethane foam filling to special order and subject to minimum order quantity.
Stainless steel insert collars are available for continuous heavy duty use. 141564 supplied with insert as standard.
When selecting a mooring buoy for your required application please apply the following recommendations Dan-Fenders test mooring buoys to their maximum values. Buoys/fenders are completely submerged in freshwater when buoyancy tests are conducted. We therefore recommend 60% of the value stated as the units working capacity. All measurements and buoyancies are calculated with a pressure of 0.15 bar (2 psi) at approximately 20ºC (68ºF).

Patented combination boarding step and fender. They are manufactured from the same injection moulded PVC construction as Dan-Fender® heavy duty inflatable fenders. The unique shape provides hull protection as well as a boarding step. The high topsides of many modern vessels make boarding difficult from either a marina finger or from small dinghies. The combined fender and step feature allow them to be rigged before entering a marina, allowing the crew to safely and easily step onto the pontoon without resorting to leaping. When setting the anchor the swivel prevents the chain from becoming twisted allowing for easy deployment and retrieval. A smooth overall snag free finish helps the swivel slide freely over bow rollers and deck. The captured pin can be easily removed via an allen key (included) and ensures the fastening pin will not loosen when under load. Designed specially for use with rope, the 143138 incorporates wider, smooth rounded jaws to accommodate up to 12mm rope and 10mm thimbles.
