This system is designed to provide automatic battery management for twin outboard installations using outboards without AUX outputs. It is a preassembled module with solid links and application labels. Provides independent isolation of port start, starboard start and house batteries with the ability to emergency parallel both starting batteries, combined with a 140 amp DVSR connected to each engine. It will control the port engine to charge the port start battery first and then the house battery when the port start battery is fully charged. It will also control the starboard engine to charge the starboard start battery first and then charge the house battery when the starboard start battery is fully charged, giving a combined charge from both engines to the house battery until the voltage regulators of both engines control the charge. It will also allow the house battery to be charged if running on one engine.

The 701 Contour Battery Master Switch is a simple on/off switch which offers a number of unique features. The contour lock system allows it to be a stand-alone unit or locked together with other switches. The 701 also features a control knob which cannot be removed whilst in the on or off position, however, can be removed by switching to an anti-theft position.
The interchangeable labelling system on the control knob allows a full range of applications. Switches come standard with the battery symbol label. Alternative label sets BEP-113691 are available. The removable rear cover insulates the rear terminals against any short circuits and ensures the switch meets ABYC requirements.
Removable side plates on 4 sides provide access for heavy-duty battery cables. Surface mount or recess mount in a 52mm hole. Screw holes 5mm roundhead. Ignition protected. Non-corrosive construction.
BEP Marine Battery Switch Test Procedures (UL 1107) Continuous (1 hour), intermittent (5 minutes) and Cranking (engine starting – 10 seconds). The test is to determine the maximum current the switch can handle for the stated time, without the rear terminals exceeding 100 deg C (212 deg F) above the ambient temperature. The continuous and intermittent ratings are tested at 110 per cent of specified ratings. All BEP switches are tested Independently to this specification by a 3rd party laboratory.

BEP Mini Battery Selector Switch
BEP Mini Battery Selector Switch
The 701-S is the smallest selector switch on the market. This battery switch offers a simple and economical way of separating two batteries. The position rotating switch provides off, Battery 1, Both and Battery 2 alternatives.
A removable rear cover insulates the rear terminals against any short circuits. Removable side plates on four sides provide access to heavy-duty battery cables. Surface mount or recess mount in a 52mm hole. Mount holes 5mm roundhead. The 7015-PM is designed specifically for panel mounting with the option of full recess or shallow intrusion.
This flush mounting version accepts 5mm countersunk screws.

Pre-wired module combining 113553 Mini Battery Selector Switch and a dual sensing Voltage Sensitive Relay. With the selector switch in position 1, it becomes the sensing battery for the VSR. When the engine is first started the relay is open and remains open until the selected battery reaches a preset 13.4 volt. The relay closes at the rated voltage providing charge to both batteries. When the selected battery voltage drops below 12.8 volt, the DVSR disengages, separating the batteries and ensuring that battery 1 is not discharged by house loads. When the selector switch is in position 2, this becomes the sensing battery and the reciprocal occurs. When the selector switch is in the both position the DVSR is inactive and the charge and load is distributed evenly between the batteries. With this system the loads are run off the same battery as the engine starting battery.

Injection moulded plastic panel with modern contour styling. The switch tray features a rubber mounting gasket and integral cover seal. The cover includes a clear plastic membrane with rubber over-mould allowing the flexibility to operate the switches while providing a clear window for label backlighting. Red LED indicates systems on. Both grey and blue interchangeable contour wave strips are included and custom colours are available, subject to minimum quantities. Mounting screws are bidden beneath the cover. Panels can be mounted horizontally or vertically due to the unique label design. A joiner is available for multiple panel installations. Available in 2, 4 or 6 gang versions with a choice of grey or white facia and with or without fuses. Fused versions have each pair of switches connected to a behind panel mounted AF type blade fuse holder. Supplied as standard with two position, on/off switches and 113694, 28 piece label set.
