These Heavy Duty (HD) Par-Max 4 freshwater pressure pumps offer robust construction and high performance. These new modern design pumps have a 4 chamber quad design pump head and offer pressure up to 60PSI. These heavy Duty (HD) models include a heavy duty wider diameter motor with a powder coated shell, cast aluminium end bells and lower housing – to improve pressure capability and offer longer life and exceptional performance. The ideal robust heavy duty pump for providing freshwater automatically to up to 4 outlets on pleasure craft up to approx the 13 metre (40 Ft) range. Includes a 40 mesh plug-in inlet strainer in the box with the pump. HD Quad 4 chamber automatic pressure pump gives fl ow up to 4 US Gallons per minute (15.2 litres per minute) and pressure up to 60 PSI. Serves up to 4 x 12mm outlets including galley, shower and additional faucet. The Par-Max 4.0 HD gives very smooth water flow even at low demand due to its built-in pulsation dampening by-pass valve which controls unwanted cycling and reduces noise. Inlet filter, corrosion resistant motor, soft rubber vibration dampening mounts and quick connect plug-in hose ports included – 2 x 12mm barbed for hose. 12 volt in 60 PSI cut-out pressure.

A low profile range of white access doors designed for installation on internal or external vertical or horizontal surfaces. Featuring high impact U.V. resistant Saralon resin, the heavily reinforced lid includes a non slip surface and is resistant and impervious to harsh chemicals. The lid hinges through 180° and covers the mounting flange, concealing the fastenings while helping to shed water. Additionally, 173292 and 173294 have been specially designed and engineered to be used in-floor where foot traffic may be expected. The in-laid gasket seal ensures excellent weather protection while the heavy duty 316 grade stainless steel hinge can be through bolted for added strength. For secure closure the Saralon resin handles feature a positive stop plus click home lock. Specially designed removable plastic storage tubs are available separately and are designed to fit the 173292 or 173294 when mounted horizontally.

A range of low profile white ventilation hatches featuring high impact U.V. resistant Saralon resin moulded frames which resist warping and are impervious to harsh chemicals such as acetone. The 6mm light bronze finished tempered glass lens offers extreme strength and durability and is moulded into the frame to help protect against water intrusion and lens separation. Ventilation hatches are fitted with an adjustable strut with a friction locking knob, allowing the hatch to be held at the desired angle plus internal closing handles for security. The heavy duty hinge system and strut design also allows the hatch to be opened 180° for a lay-flat effect. The deck frame Features a hidden fastening design when closed and utilises stainless steel hardware where appropriate. All hatches have a 25mm internal flange and are supplied complete with matching trim ring with insect screens available separately.

THEORY OF OPERATION
As the pump runs, pressure is increased until it reaches the pre-defined pressure level (2.8 bar – 41 psi for WD 2.9, 5 bar – 70 psi for WD 3.5 & 5.2). When the pre-defined pressure level is reached the integrated pressure switch automatically shuts the pump off.
The pump is equipped with positively checking outlet valves which ensure that the pressure is maintained after the pump shuts off.
When water is demanded the pressure decreases. After a moderate drop in pressure, the integrated pressure switch automatically turns the pump back on.
Due to their durable construction and thoughtful design, the WD-pumps will provide many years of service.

The five chamber Aqua Jet Water Pressure Pump “WPS” series provides a reliable heart for small boat and recreational vehicle water pressure systems. Efficient and compact, Aqua Jet pumps are particularly suitable where low amperage and sound levels in relation to water flow are placed at a premium – such as in shower and galley applications.
Compared to conventional three or four-chamber diaphragm pumps, the Aqua Jet demonstrates dramatically lower noise and water pulsation characteristics, even at low speeds. Integrated pressure switch turns pump on and off automatically when tap is opened and closed.
