Lewmar Spare Parts – Ocean Profile Hatch Seal Kits

Black rubber, cup style, used to feed water into the cooling system of an engine to flush out salt, sand and other debris after use, or simply to check your enqine performance prior to launching. Uses a sturdy powder coated steel spring to powerfully clamp on to the outboard’s leg and seal the rubber, maximising water pressure. Suits most small outboards with side water inlets on the lower leg/drive unit (*If unsure whether these are suitable please check your owners manual or contact us with your motor details). Easy to connect – Simply slide cups over the top of the water intake slots, & connect your garden hose to the quick connect male fitting moulded into side (refer images).

*Please note: As a guide if an engine does not start pumping water after 4 to 5 seconds of using these flushers turn engine off and reposition flushers/ear muffs to prevent over heating/water pump burnout, and try again. If this does not fix the problem, turn off engine and seek advice.
