Lowrance, Lowrance Sonar & TransducersXSONIC AIRMAR B150M – Chirp-ready Tilted Element Thru-hull Transducer
AIRMAR B150M – Chirp-ready Tilted Element Thru-hull Transducer
Airmar’s B150M delivers a great combination of shallow and mid-depth performance. Operating at a frequency range of 95 to 155 kHz, this transducer reveals fish in shallow waters and deeper depths down to 183 m (600′) with ultra-clear target resolution. Narrow beam angles are perfect for detecting fish holding close to structures and suspended fish—ideal for freshwater, inshore, or coastal fishing in shallow to medium depth.
Tilted Element™ transducers have the ceramic element fixed at a 20°, 12°, or 0° angle within the housing. When the transducer is installed almost flush to the hull, the tilt of the element corrects for the hull deadrise, orienting the beam directly down. This ensures maximum echo returns to the transducer for more accurate depth readings.
Available in three Tilted Element models:
- Fixed 20° tilted version for 16 to 24° hull deadrise angles
- Fixed 12° tilted version for 8 to 15° hull deadrise angles
- Fixed 0° tilted version for 0 to 7° hull deadrise angles

XSONIC AIRMAR B285M – Chirp-ready Thru-hull Transducer
AIRMAR B285M – Chirp-ready Thru-hull Transducer
The B285M’s medium frequency delivers the right combination of coverage under the boat, extended depth range, and the ability to produce clean and accurate target and structure returns in mid to deeper water. Medium frequency also provides excellent shallow to mid-depth performance, bottom detail, and fish-target separation. Operating at a frequency range of 85 to 135 kHz, this transducer reveals fish at medium depths up to 457 m (1500′) and gives ultra-clear target resolution.
This model is also ideal for single-channel sounder applications where operating in Chirp mode provides a greater opportunity to see what is in the water column. Simply create pre-sets for 85 and 135 kHz and toggle between wide and narrow beams for scouting an area and then pinpointing structure.
The included High-performance Fairing improves broadband performance at speeds over 30 knots (34 MPH).

AIRMAR M260 – Traditional/CW In-hull Transducer
The performance of Airmar’s “1 kW, 260 family” of transducers is legendary. The combination of power and sensitivity has made this the high-performing transducer of choice with conventional fishfinders. Operating at 50 and 200 kHz, the narrow, 6° beam at 200 kHz provides excellent target resolution and crisp images of fish holding tight to wrecks and reefs. The 50 kHz is excellent at deep-water detection, and its wide 19° beam yields broad coverage under the boat.
The transducer is installed in the included tank which is cut to the boat’s deadrise angle and affixed inside the hull. When the transducer is placed inside the tank, it is properly oriented for optimal performance. Traditional Frequency Transducers
Traditional frequency transducers continue to be popular choices for angler’s who like the simplicity of fewer frequencies or have a non-Chirp capable sounder. Our Traditional (CW) models range in power from 300 watts to 1kW and typically are either 200 kHz, 50 KHz or a combination of the two. Built with the highest quality construction, Airmar traditional frequency transducers will allow your fishfinder to deliver excellent deep-water performance, great bottom structure detail, and fish targets.
Benefits of Transom Mount Transducers
Transom models are best suited for small and trailered vessels where a thru-hull installation is not practical. Perfect for freshwater boat styles and centre consoles. Simple to install and ideal for small trailered vessels where a thru-hull may interfere with loading.
• Simple installation on the transom of the boat
• Great performance at boat speeds below 30 knots
• Easy maintenance and low-cost replacementWhy does Frequency Matter?
Selecting the best frequency for your specific application is very important. The good news is that once you know what frequency will work best for the type of fishing you do, there’s an AIRMAR transducer designed to maximize the performance of your sounder.
AIRMAR Chirp transducers are available in various frequency combinations:Dual Band: - Low/High (LH)
- Low/Medium (LM)
- Low/High Wide (LHW)
- Low Wide/Medium (LWM)
Single Band: - Low
- Medium
- High
- HighWide
Low Frequency = Greater Depth (ex. 42-65 kHz)
• Sound waves will not present as clear a picture of the bottom on the display but will sound down in very deep areas where high-frequency sound waves cannot reach
• Provides greater depth range, wider beamwidth, and ultimately more coverage under the boat
• Chirp signal processing technology used with AIRMAR broadband, Chirp-ready transducers provide more detail at greater depths and are less susceptible to noise
• Great for operating at high boat speedsHigh Frequency = Greater Detail (ex. 130-210 kHz)
• More sensitive to small targets and will send back detailed information which will display as crisp, high-resolution images on the echosounder screen
• Best for shallower water and is popular with anglers fishing at depths less than 1500 feetMedium Frequency = The Best of Both Worlds (ex. 80-130 kHz)
• Provides the ability to sound deeper than the high frequency, along with better resolution than the low frequency
• Wider beam than the high frequency, achieving more coverage under the boat and greater opportunity to find fish
• Clear images at higher boat speedsBrochure

AIRMAR TM150M Chirp-ready Transom Mount Transducer
Airmar’s TM150M delivers a great combination of shallow and mid-depth performance. Operating at a frequency range of 95 to 155 kHz, this transducer reveals fish in shallow waters and deeper depths down to 183 m (600′) with ultra-clear target resolution. Narrow beam angles are perfect for detecting fish holding close to structures and suspended fish—ideal for freshwater, inshore, or coastal fishing in shallow to medium depths. The TM150M is an excellent choice for freshwater and saltwater boats up to 8 m (25′).
