Design has been ticking along over the last month, tiding up the little details that will make the new models really flow through the production hall. The 1850 Supercab is now in full production, and we are seeing the fruits of this as the pace in production is starting to speed up. The 2050 Supercab will soon be entering this phase, and we expect the learnings from the 1850 to apply here as well.

In Design the outlook for the remainder of the year is very busy so we are taking the opportunity to apply some minor updates and improvements on the 1550 and 1850 Fisher models over the next month or so. These won’t be outwardly visible but should improve these popular models. We will be in touch in the coming weeks to update you on these updates.

The major project on the near horizon for Design will be a major alignment project on one of our larger hull platforms to bring efficiency to manufacturing and commonality with the hull and transoms options, among other updates and improvements. We will have almost the whole office working on this project and will use this as the first project to implement some new CAD data storage standards and tools in the form of a CAD vault.
