The Stabicraft 1450 Explorer is a compact and capable aluminium boat designed for anglers, explorers and families looking for a practical package that is easy to handle and ready for a range of on-water adventures. With a 4.42m hull, 1.90m beam and capacity for up to four adults, it offers a stable and functional platform without compromising on ease of use.
Built with a maximised-width 4mm tread plate floor and durable 3mm Arrow pontoons, the 1450 Explorer is designed with practicality in mind. Broadhead wing-style coamings, bow rails and closed-cell baffling provide a well-equipped platform, while the raised anchor bulkhead and casting platform make the bow area particularly useful for fishing and general boating.
The Explorer comes equipped with four bow travelling rod-holder sockets, four aft coaming rod holders and four aft multi holders, providing plenty of options for carrying and positioning fishing equipment. A bolt-in seating plank provides additional versatility, while the three Stabi cleats and starboard transducer brackets add further functionality.
Powering the package is a Yamaha F40LA Tiller, producing 40 HP from a 747cc three-cylinder engine. The engine features electric starting and Power Trim & Tilt, with tiller-handle control for straightforward operation. Finished in grey and paired with an Aluminium Enduro G Series 12" propeller, the Yamaha is supplied with motor pre-delivery and installation included.
For easy launching and transport, this package is fitted with a REDCO Stabicraft RE1313 trailer, featuring a steel/skid setup and 740kg ATM. Trailer pre-delivery and registration are also included.
Additional factory-fitted options include a portside trolling motor mount with battery tray and bow rails, along with portside and starboard rear boarding steps with handrails, making the boat even more practical for fishing, boarding and day-to-day use.
Compact. Practical. Fishing Ready.
This Stabicraft 1450 Explorer package combines a tough and versatile hull with reliable Yamaha power and a purpose-built trailer. With useful fishing features, additional boarding options and a fitted trolling motor mount, it is a well-rounded package ready for exploring rivers, estuaries, bays and coastal waters.

Mark was born and raised in Redcliffe as the fourth of five sons in a passionate boating family, I have loved fishing and boating for as long as I can remember. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of weekends spent on Moreton Island, especially around the Tangalooma wrecks, which sparked my lifelong passion for boating and being on the water.
After owning several boats in my teenage years and early 20s, I pursued a career in the marine industry, starting in Marine Parts and Accessories in 2007. I worked my way up to Parts and Accessories Manager at Northside Marine before being honored to join the Boat Sales Team. My nearly 20 years in the industry allow me to provide knowledgeable and friendly advice to customers of all experience levels.
I take great pride in helping customers find the perfect boat to suit their needs. My goal is to guide them through the buying process, ensuring they get the most enjoyment out of their time on the water. By understanding each customer’s lifestyle and preferences, I help them make confident and informed decisions.
