This multi-purpose instrument display features a colour screen that”™s designed for optimal visibility in all conditions. See wind data, boat speed, depth, engine information, autopilot status, AIS data and more at a glance. Add an optional OP12 keypad, and the IS42 also offers full control of many Simrad autopilot systems.

Clear Views and Intuitive Control

Designed for use in all conditions, the IS42”™s full-colour display panel is optically bonded to its protective glass covering; this eliminates the possibility of condensation or fogging within the display. Transflective LCD technology makes use of reflected sunlight to brighten rather than obscure the displayed image, delivering superior daytime visibility and lower power consumption compared to traditional backlit displays. Simple, waterproof controls make the IS42 easy to use in rough conditions, and reliably responsive to wet or gloved hands.

A Truly Multi-Purpose Digital Instrument

The IS42 instrument can be configured to display multiple ”˜pages”™ containing information such as wind conditions, vessel speed, depth, and more. Quickly switch between pages to access the information you need, when you need it. Engine monitoring pages display important data such as RPM, engine temperature, trim tab status, fuel flow and economy for up to two NMEA 2000® connected engines. When networked with a compatible AIS receiver, the IS42 also offers a clear graphical display of nearby AIS-equipped vessels. Watch for potential collision hazards with customisable alarms, and receive AIS safety messages right on the IS42 for the ultimate situational awareness.

Easy installation

The IS42 is simple to install with an easy front-mount option, requiring no access to the back of the console or panel, and single-cable NMEA 2000® connectivity for both power and data. The IS42 is compatible with a wide range of instruments, sensors, engine monitoring interfaces, Simrad autopilot systems, and other NMEA 2000® data sources. With plug-and-play connectivity, you can use as many or as few IS42 displays as needed to create your ideal digital instrument display. It”™s easy to configure data pages suited to your boat and activities, making your most important data immediately accessible.

We deliver to most addresses within mainland Australia & Tasmania, for delivery to remote territories & internationally please contact us to arrange a quote prior to making a purchase. We normally require a street address for delivery – though if it is something small a PO Box is normally acceptable (e.g. sounder/GPS unit. If you are unsure please contact us). Unfortunately, some remote locations in Australia cannot be serviced, however Northside Marine’s carrier may be able to deliver to a local depot where you can collect your products. If you live in a remote area not regularly serviced by Australia Post please contact us to see what we can do for you. Delivery Information.

At Northside Marine we appreciate that you may have second thoughts about your purchases and will give a ‘Change of Mind’ exchange/refund if goods* are returned within 7 days. For ‘Change of Mind’ purchases, goods can only be accepted back for refund or exchange in “as sold” condition including: undamaged original packaging, complete instruction books, manuals, accessories, etc. If freight expenses of any type have been incurred, these are not refundable. Return freight to us must be covered by the customer. Prior to return of products the client must first notify us to obtain approval. Your Sales Docket must accompany all returns.

At our discretion ‘Change of Mind’ exchange/refunds may be subject to a rehandling charge.
