Go further with the Highfield Ultralite 290LT, a lightweight RIB designed to give you more space, stability and outboard capability without unnecessary weight. At 2.90 metres long and weighing just 43kg boat-only, the UL290LT is easy to launch, recover and transport, while its large 43cm diameter tubes provide excellent buoyancy and stability for up to four people.
The durable aluminium hull features a 15° deadrise for improved ride comfort and handling, while the three air chambers, anti-slip deck, self-draining cockpit and full-length keel guard provide the practicality needed for regular tender use. With an internal length of 2.03 metres and internal width of 0.77 metres, there’s useful space for passengers and gear while retaining the compact footprint of a lightweight tender.
Rated for up to 15hp with a short-shaft outboard, the UL290LT has a recommended power rating of 10hp and can carry a maximum load of 400kg. With its Design Category C rating and portable fuel tank setup, it’s a capable tender for yachts, cruisers, ship-to-shore transfers and coastal exploring.

Lachie has a lifelong passion for the water, shaped by his upbringing on large cruisers along the Gold Coast. Growing up in a boating family, he gained deep firsthand experience with the marine lifestyle. Over the years, he has owned numerous boats and watercraft, developing expertise in everything from jet skiing and surfing to sailing and boating.
His extensive experience with tenders and RIBs naturally led him to become a Highfield brand captain. He enjoys exploring Moreton Bay and its stunning islands with his family, always seeking new adventures on the water.
With a strong interest in technology, Lachie is committed to helping customers find the perfect product to enhance their boating experience. His enthusiasm and expertise ensure a smooth and enjoyable buying journey for every client.
