The Highfield Ultralite 290 strikes a practical balance between lightweight portability, interior space and on-water capability. At 2.90 metres and just 39kg boat-only, it can carry up to four people and a maximum load of 320kg, providing plenty of capacity for passengers, luggage and supplies while remaining easy to transport, launch and store.
Its 15° deadrise gives the UL290 improved ride comfort and handling when travelling further from shore, while the high-tensile, chromated and powder-coated aluminium hull provides excellent durability and allows for worry-free beaching. The anti-slip deck, full-length keel guard and lifting points add practicality for regular tender use.
Powered by up to 15hp with a short-shaft outboard, the UL290 is a capable tender for yachts, cruisers and recreational boaters looking for a lightweight platform with enough size and performance for longer trips on the water.

Lachie has a lifelong passion for the water, shaped by his upbringing on large cruisers along the Gold Coast. Growing up in a boating family, he gained deep firsthand experience with the marine lifestyle. Over the years, he has owned numerous boats and watercraft, developing expertise in everything from jet skiing and surfing to sailing and boating.
His extensive experience with tenders and RIBs naturally led him to become a Highfield brand captain. He enjoys exploring Moreton Bay and its stunning islands with his family, always seeking new adventures on the water.
With a strong interest in technology, Lachie is committed to helping customers find the perfect product to enhance their boating experience. His enthusiasm and expertise ensure a smooth and enjoyable buying journey for every client.
