Formosa SRT 495 Side Console

The Formosa SRT 495 Side Console is a tough, Australian-made plate aluminium fishing boat designed around usable deck space, stability and practical fishing functionality. At 4.95m long with a 2.30m beam, the side-console layout leaves the cockpit open while providing a dedicated casting deck, storage and a well-equipped helm. The model is rated to a maximum 115hp and incorporates a 115-litre fuel tank. 

Built on Formosa's SRT plate boat platform, the 495 features 5083 high-tensile bottom sheets, an underfloor lock-cell frame, fully welded side decks, reverse-chine hull and foam-filled hull construction. Deep sides and a wide beam form part of the standard specification. 

For anglers, the SRT 495 Side Console provides a dedicated side-console casting deck with storage, side pockets, aluminium rod holders, front electric motor mount and sliding seat boxes incorporating a two-tray tackle box. Formosa's updated 495 casting deck also features wider access hatches, revised construction for improved drainage and a stated 700L of storage volume.
