Managing Director Greg Nickerson heads up the expert team at Northside marine Further and a real credit is that many of their 35+ staff members have been with Northside Marine for over 20 years, and some for over 30 years, with 2 father/son teams on deck, and their current staff having a total of over 450 years of marine industry experience.

We have an extensive range of parts and accessories with some of the best brands on the market. This department has 4 full-time employees and two part-time. It is open 6 days a week as with the boat sales department.


We are a founding member of the Bargain Boat Bits group which has 36 dealers Australia-wide providing a full range of boating accessories.


This department covers all boating accessories from sailing gear, general chandlery, and water sports to the most sophisticated electronics available on the market and is an essential part of our business to keep customers coming back into the store.

Our service department would be one of the largest in QLD, if not Australia; It is in a purpose-built marine format.

  • 9 indoor service bays

Our service team consists of a Service Manager, Senior Service Advisor, Admin manager, seven Senior Technicians, two apprentices, and two detailer/general hands, boat tester, and driver.

Our average intake of service customer jobs is between 35 and 45 jobs per week. Our total years of service in the marine industry from our service team add up to over 125 years of marine experience all at Northside Marine. The majority of our service work is split between outboards and sterndrives servicing, new boat pre-delivery, electronic installs, full boat fit-outs, sea trails, logistics, and off-site servicing and repairs.
