Bill Hull

Bill signed on as a young man with NSM back in 1985 and moved into Boat Sales in 1990. He has enjoyed boating and fishing from about the age of 4 years. He has steered the Boat Sales department for over 3 decades, so there is not much he hasn’t seen or experienced. He still has a great passion for the marine industry and putting together new model demo boats.

Rod Keats

Rod has had a passion for the sea since his teenage years. He’s got a trade background as a boilermaker, which soon turned to alloy fabrication in the early ’80s. This developed to the building of plate alloy boats and manufacturing products for the marine industry. Rod’s current position at Northside is Used Boat Sales Specialist, he’s been in this position for 6 years. Rod’s vast knowledge gained over 40 years of using and owning trailer boats is vital to our team!

Mark Golden

Born and bred in Redcliffe as 1 of 5 Boys, Mark and the family spent the majority of his childhood on Moreton Bay Boating and Fishing. “Boating has been in my blood since I was born and there is nothing better than being out on the water. I jumped at the opportunity to start in the Marine Industry in 2006 and was honoured to become the Stabicraft Brand Captain at Northside Marine in 2017. It has been a pleasure selling a brand of boat that I am so passionate about and truly believe these boats are unrivaled in the industry for safety, stability, and build quality”.

David Choveaux

David has been around boats all his life and has a passion for the water. He started sailing in club races at a very young age and has cruised and raced along the East Coast. David is an ex-commercial fisherman who still loves to cruise and fish around the bay. He started working at Northside Marine in 2001 in the Parts & Accessories department, then moved to Boat Sales. He’s always happy to share his knowledge on boating with customers! David’s goal is to help customers purchase the right boat and fit it out with all the essentials you need.

Sam Lewis

Sam has been at Northside Marine since 2019 and he is the youngest in the sales team. He grew up fishing with his dad which then lead to the purchase of their first tinnie. From there the passion grew, and not only did Sam enjoy fishing but also boating. That passion lead him to his career in the marine industry where he now gets to play with boats every day. It truly is a dream job for Sam!

Alycia Kuhnert

Alycia started with Northside Marine in 2007 in Accessories, before moving into the boat sales team full time in 2008, becoming the Business Manager. In-house she looks after customers; finance, insurance, warranties, and registrations. Alycia doesn’t own a boat with horsepower, but she does have a kayak and horses for horsepower, mixed with a love for the water and fishing. She learns something new every day which keeps her mind active.

Donna Kup-Ferroth

Colin Kean

Colin has been with the Northside Marine since 1988 and is heavily involved behind the scenes across all departments of the business. He has a true passion for sailing and is highly experienced in many different classes of sailing boats from Yachts, Trailer Sailors, 12ft Skiffs, High-Performance Catamarans, and Dinghies. Throughout his career, Colin has competed in many events both within Australia as well as overseas including all the higher profile offshore events and race weeks on the eastern seaboard. He is also the driving force behind his highly successful KEAN EDGE Racing Team where he currently sails Formula 18, Nacra 17, and Extreme 40 Catamarans.

Craig Rees

With over two decades as a retailer, Craig jumped onboard at Northside Marine in 2017 to Manage the Parts and Accessories Department. Craig has managed the P&A department expertly and brings experience from his surfing into work. As a surfer he’s normally jumping off the boats to go surf waves both locally and all around the world, and also enjoys fishing and just being on the water.

Glenn Riley

Glenn started with Northside Marine back in 1978 and has worked here for approx. 43 years! Most of that time, Glenn spent in the chandlery department selling boat parts and marine electronics. His passion over this time is freshwater fishing and being involved in stocking groups and tagging and collecting data. Glenn owns three boats; one set for electric motor fishing and 3 kayaks. He’s out every weekend on the dams around Brisbane! Glenn’s other passion is marine electronics and using the latest technology to help him catch more fish.

Wayne Cross

Wayne’s beginnings at Northside Marine officially started in 1979 as an apprentice Marine Mechanic, but he frequented the Dealership for many years prior. In his younger years Wayne sailed in sabot’s and progressed up to yachts, he loved fishing with my Dad and was an avid water skier, Over the years he has filled many roles but today Wayne is the Dealership Operations Manager. After all these years, Wayne still loves coming to work every day and playing with boats, as the old saying goes “If you love what you do, you never work a day in your life!”

Ross Tanner

Robert Webb

Robert has been with the Northside team since March 2021 and prior to that, he was a Service Advisor in the Automotive Industry for 10 years. In total, Robert has 20 years in customer service. His role is to coordinate and manage the retail Service bookings and he will take care of all of your servicing and repair needs. He has a strong focus on looking after our customers and getting them back on the water quickly. Out of work Robert enjoys camping with the family and exploring the rivers with the kids looking for that elusive muddy!

Pep Cerdan

Jason Cross

Jason started at Northside Marine in 2008 as a Trades Assistant, in 2009 he officially started an Apprenticeship. Fast forward to 2013, Jason became a Senior Marine Technician in the Service Department. Jason specializes in Malibu boats and Yamaha Marine Outboards. He has spent his whole life around the Marine Industry! Jason purchased his first ski boat in 2009 with a passion for wakeboarding. “Being around the water is a lifestyle, not just a career. “

Chris Jones

Chris joined the team in 2019 after 26 years in the automotive industry as a qualified technician. Learning to water ski at a very young age, and with enthusiasm to be involved in all aspects of water skiing on and off the water, his transition to a marine technician was a logical decision. “NSM has given me the opportunity to further expand my experience and skills”. Chris has owned the family ski boat for over 25 years and has been collecting timber water skis for almost as long. Chris is also involved with water ski organisations and regularly competes in slalom water skiing.

John McGivern

John started with Northside marine in December 2012 as a Senior Marine Mechanic, and he loves his job! John started in the marine trade with Yamaha in 1988 and still going strong to this day. John really enjoys the constant product updates and advancement of the marine industry all made available to him by Northside Marine.

Andrew Du Bois

Andrew started with Northside Marine at the start of 2018 in service as a TA and now is currently a 3rd-year apprentice. He has done a good mix of service and fit-outs. Andrew doesn’t own a boat but he gets out on his jetski as much as he can. Andrew enjoys being part of the team at Northside Marine and the marine industry itself

Jesse Vanderkruk

Jesse started working with Northside Marine in January 2021 as a Trades Assistant. He has been around boats and fishing for as long as he can remember. Jesse does have his own boat, and he goes out as much as he can in his spare time

Caleb Hussie

Caleb started with Northside at the end of 2019 as a 3rd-year apprentice Marine Technician. His love for spearfishing and fishing started in his early teens, living in Mackay and fishing the reefs. Once Caleb finished school, he worked as a commercial coral diver which then lead to him starting his apprenticeship. 2 years later Caleb moved down to the ‘big smoke’ to pursue his career, Caleb was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to work at Northside Marine, where he has improved his skills majorly and loves what he does.

Josh Neal

Josh started his journey at Northside Marine in 2011 working in the Service Department as an Apprentice Marine Technician. He gained a love for 12v electrics from early on in his apprenticeship, once Josh became qualified he got stuck into fit-outs on all the new boats, working on anything from a 3 metre Stacer to an 11 metre Jeanneau. Josh has a great passion for the Marine Industry, putting together customers’ dreams day in day out!
