MEET THE TEAM

We have an extensive range of parts and accessories with some of the best brands on the market. This department has 4 full-time employees and two part-time. It is open 6 days a week as with the boat sales department.

We are a founding member of the Bargain Boat Bits group which has 36 dealers Australia-wide providing a full range of boating accessories.

This department covers all boating accessories from sailing gear, general chandlery, and water sports to the most sophisticated electronics available on the market and is an essential part of our business to keep customers coming back into the store.

Having over 35 staff in our dealership gives you peace of mind when combining your Boat (new or old) with not only the supply, but also the installation of the latest in Marine Electronics.

Whether you are chasing a new Sounder for your 399 Stacer Proline or a Full package for your new Jeanneau Merry Fisher 1095, you can have confidence in receiving an accurate quote including installation by combining our three departments of Boat Sales, Parts and Accessories and our large installation team within our Service Department.

You will be given the choice of the best brands on the market including Garmin, Simrad, Lowrance, MinnKota, Airmar and Raymarine for the Electronics. Fusion and JLAudio for the Audio package and GME, Garmin and Simrad for your VHF radio. Combine this with Yamaha Helm Master, Lone Star Marine Winches, Zipwake and other Trim Tab brands and you will be fully covered under one roof. In fact, we have the largest range of Marine Electronics in Queensland and are proud to show it off.

Our service team consists of a Service Manager, Senior Service Advisor, Admin manager, seven Senior Technicians, two apprentices, and two detailer/general hands, boat tester, and driver.

Our average intake of service customer jobs is between 35 and 45 jobs per week. Our total years of service in the marine industry from our service team add up to over 125 years of marine experience all at Northside Marine. The majority of our service work is split between outboards and sterndrives servicing, new boat pre-delivery, electronic installs, full boat fit-outs, sea trails, logistics, and off-site servicing and repairs.

Bought a new Highfield Patrol 540 from Northside and had fantastic service from the start. Both Chris and Api were fantastic to deal with helping me navigate all the options for the boat. Even last minute changes were not a problem and they were more than happy to oblige. Boat was spotless when picked up and Chris ran through all the information regarding the boat and engine. To be honest, it's been the best service I've received from any boat or car dealer to date. After sales service has been great too (only just had its first service), but even the trailer tyres had been treated! Can't recomend Northside highly enough - and thoroughly nice guys to deal with!

We took possession of our new pride and joy a Stabicraft 1550 Frontier with a few custom additions today. We'd first met with Mark Golden about four months ago and we went through a few different boats, what we were coming out of, what we were looking for, our budget etc. We were looking for that classic 'allrounder' that we could use in dams, offshore, rivers, whatever we throw at it...in a small package. We settled on the Frontier. Mark was exceptional in that process and his knowledge, industry experience, communication and enthusiasm throughout didn't diminish. He clearly loves his job, but more importantly, clearly loves to see his customers get exactly what they need and walk away happy. He came in this morning on his 'day off' to ensure he personally was there on sight to give me what was a very extensive handover. The fit-out by the Northside Marine Team was flawless. We even tweaked a few things today at Marks suggestion because the boat was presented to our spec...but is tonight just that bit better...and I got to meet Craig Rees in the Chandlery and he sorted things for me. If you're looking for a new boat I'd certainly recommend Mark and the Northside Marine team. 100% professional from first contact to delivery.

Bunch of legends!!! Specially Adam from the service department. I had an issue with my outboard and was abou to fly to perth where i work called about 10 different places, and no one would even wanted to talk saying they're fully booked for weeks and won't be able to help.
Called Adam and explained how stuck I was he said, "Drop it in ASAP and will fit you in and sort it out before your departure!! Drop the boat next morning at 8.30 am and done by 12.
If you are reading this review, don't hesitate to deal with guys. Just ask for Adam, and he is the man to sort you out for sure 🙂

I have mixed feelings about this place. I have had amazing service from the first salesman who I purchased my boat from (he is still there) but the delivery of my boat was from a different person and a lot of information was not passed on to me during delivery which affected my experience - so your experience can be very much affected by who you talk to. Also I have ordered a number of parts from their parts shop and 2 out of 4 times they provided me the incorrect part which meant a return trip, though the parts guy was apologetic.
