The Stabicraft 1450 Frontier pays homage to one of the most successful and versatile boats in Stabicraft’s history – 1410. The Stabicraft 1450 Frontier, however, is more exceptional than its predecessor. From family, diving, fishing, and adventure, you can do it all. It is the most well-appointed sub-5-meter open boat in its class. An absolute beast of a boat with lots of storage, the sides are high enough to lean against and wide enough to sit on. TheStabicraft 1450 Frontier powder-coated side console is a hard-wearing, compact unit that gives the driver ultimate comfort and visibility. The console is mounted to the starboard, coaming and up off the floor, keeping the deck space largely unobstructed and allowing you to carry a large amount of gear and/or people.

Stability under power, or at rest

Your family and friends will be safe with the unequalled stability provided by Stabicraft’s airtight chambered hull design, either while under power or at rest.

Stabicraft’s chambered design allows occupants to move freely about the deck, even all on one side. Few other boats on the market can match Stabicraft’s positive buoyancy and design safety.

Even if a chamber is pierced, the separate water-tight chambers limit the damage, making a Stabicraft vessel virtually unsinkable.

Legendary toughness and durability

Apart from aiding buoyancy, Stabicraft’s life-ring chambers with internal hull bracing provide longitudinal rigidity to the boat.

The unique design of the life-ring affords more cockpit space than most other similarly styled boats.

What gives greater confidence are things not easily seen. For example, the entire hull is meticulously welded and finished to a standard that is without peer in the aluminium boat building industry.

Positivity bouyancy by design

Some boats float better than others. That’s design.

Advanced metal extrusion technology is used to create continuous sealed chambers that provide a life-ring on the upper-outer extremities of the boat. Each vessel’s life-ring contains at least three air-tight chambers.

The stepped molding of our slim-lined air-tight chambers, once attached to the hull, create a cushion of air that allows the boat to plane over rough water. With the addition of an air-tight chamber between the floor and hull these boats become virtually unsinkable.

Superior rough water handling

When travelling at speed, Stabicraft hulls create a cushion of water under each life-ring chamber, thus softening the ride for your family.

Observe a Stabicraft at speed compared to most other boats and you will immediately become aware of how little spray rises above the gunwales because it is deflected and trapped by the hull design. This contributes to passenger comfort and dryness of ride.

About Mark Golden

Mark was born and raised in Redcliffe as the fourth of five sons in a passionate boating family, I have loved fishing and boating for as long as I can remember. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of weekends spent on Moreton Island, especially around the Tangalooma wrecks, which sparked my lifelong passion for boating and being on the water.

After owning several boats in my teenage years and early 20s, I pursued a career in the marine industry, starting in Marine Parts and Accessories in 2007. I worked my way up to Parts and Accessories Manager at Northside Marine before being honored to join the Boat Sales Team. My nearly 20 years in the industry allow me to provide knowledgeable and friendly advice to customers of all experience levels.

I take great pride in helping customers find the perfect boat to suit their needs. My goal is to guide them through the buying process, ensuring they get the most enjoyment out of their time on the water. By understanding each customer’s lifestyle and preferences, I help them make confident and informed decisions.
