Highfield Ultralite 290
With a weight of 110 lbs, the Highfield Ultralite 290 model is light and easy to transport, while still having capacity for up to 5 people and a 15hp engine. As their name suggests, the Ultralites’ low weight make them a real alternative for those who may have chosen a soft bottom tender in the past but would prefer the performance of a hard hull. Ultralite tenders are roomy and strong, yet light and easy to transport. These little boats can be launched and recovered by a single person, and are easily transported on a roof rack. The UL hull is built from 2.5mm thick powder coated marine grade aluminum, and the tubes feature1100 Decitex Valmex® PVC or Orca® Hypalon material, cut and assembled to exacting standards. The simple layout of the UL, with an uncluttered design and numerous standard accessories, make the UL series one of the best values in inflatable boats.

About Lachie O'Brien
Lachie has a lifelong passion for the water, shaped by his upbringing on large cruisers along the Gold Coast. Growing up in a boating family, he gained deep firsthand experience with the marine lifestyle. Over the years, he has owned numerous boats and watercraft, developing expertise in everything from jet skiing and surfing to sailing and boating.
His extensive experience with tenders and RIBs naturally led him to become a Highfield brand captain. He enjoys exploring Moreton Bay and its stunning islands with his family, always seeking new adventures on the water.
With a strong interest in technology, Lachie is committed to helping customers find the perfect product to enhance their boating experience. His enthusiasm and expertise ensure a smooth and enjoyable buying journey for every client.
