Job Vacancy – Boat/Marine Salesperson

Boat Sales Professional Specialising in Stacer Aluminium Boats & Yamaha Outboard Motor Sales.

Northside Marine is a leading marine dealership, established over 50 years ago and is presently located on a 10,000m2 purpose built site at Boondall, Brisbane, servicing South East Queensland, and beyond. We cover trailer boats in watersports, cruising, and fishing with marque brands like: Jeanneau, Stabicraft, Stacer, Surtees and Yamaha Outboard Motors.

Our dealership also has a large Boating Parts & Accessories Division, and one of Australia’s largest boating Service Departments.

We are currently seeking to appoint an outstanding and impressive person to join our successful team overseeing new & used boat sales.

The successful candidate will competently demonstrate complete professionalism, proven sales ability, and a high standard of customer service. To be considered for this position you will need to be able to showcase your sales experience in boats and the ability to deliver outstanding customer service. Ideally this role will suit an individual that is experienced in trailer boat sales, who is ambitious, committed and strives to be the best.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To head up the promotion, sales and delivery of new & used boats
  • To be part of the wider sales team and back up with other product sales as required
  • To update and keep current all website activities and social media

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • The successful candidate will have skills and experience in the following areas:
  • A passion for Boating & Fishing
  • Be ambitious, confident & self-motivated
  • Be professionally presented
  • Strong & proven sales ability (preferably in trailer boats)
  • Competent computer skills (e.g. Word, Excel)
  • Have current Boat (RMDL or above) & Car Drivers License
  • Have an outgoing and enthusiastic personality that complement sales
